The Mommy Time Questions

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog
authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's questions in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from recently asked questions from a previously post.

We found this gem from a site called MommyTime. It's not clear if she wrote or stole the questions. From the site's set up, it appears the blogs purpose was to help raise children and saving (or better phrased as "helping") your marriage. The picture here is from the blog, but we're pretty sure it's not the author. And to add to our confusion of not finding a picture of the site's writer(s), we couldn't even find a name.

And now Stealing!

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Mommy Time Questions

1. What are five passions that you have? (If you have less than five, tell us where you do have an interest.)

2. List up to ten random facts about yourself.

3. List five people (personal, historic, living or dead) who have had a major impact on your life or the way you think.

4. List 5 things you'd tell your 15 year-olds self, if you could.

5. What is a major strength that you have? (You can list more than one. Staying with our no rules approach.)

6. What is a major weakness that you have? (You can list more than one. STILL staying with our no rules approach.)

7. Describe the family dynamic of your childhood versus your family dynamic now.

8. What popular notion do you feel that the world has most wrong?

9. Name three things that always cheers you up when you are down.

10. Name three things would you like to be remembered for?

Thank you for playing this week on Sunday Stealing! Please consider liking WTIT on Facebook. Click here. Link when you have posted. Stop back and visit other player’s posts. That is really what this is all about, making new friends! Have a great week. See you next Sunday!

Unlike most sites, including Kwiz for the three years she was the featured host, we don't plan ahead. But this week and next week we had to do it. It's WTIT's 50th Anniversary party!

Who's coming? (Feel free to skip this)

We've chipped in to buy a plane ticket so Johnnie Walker can attend. He moved to Colorado in 2015 after we threw him a special WTIT send-off show and party. He's staying a week. He arrived last night. Johnnie lives on Social Security disability so money is tight. If it weren't for him WTIT would have died long ago. But he has been the Ed McMann to my Johnny Carson for nearly a half a century.

Our current DJs:

Rock Rolling is the other guy who kept this all going along with Johnnie. Although Rock joined us during our 20th Anniversary year, he has been to almost every session since joining WTIT in 1987. He is amazingly funny, can sing and play guitar. At one time Rock & I came close to getting a morning radio show in 1990. The long and short of it was I got hired but Rock didn't. And yet it did not effect our relationship at all.

Bouncing Billy recorded WTIT's first show with me. He recorded from 1967 to 1974. When we launched our reboot in 1985 he returned and helped the new guy (Cos) assimilate to WTIT. When he didn't come back we thought we's never see him again. But he returned in 2013 after I asked him out for drinks. He hasn't missed a session since then.

Gregarious Greg
replaced Gypsy Grillo in 1974. He was the first replacement DJ. He recorded from 1973-1982. But he has returned for every anniversary party even though each was a decade apart. When Johnnie Walker left for Colorado, Greg agreed to return and take his chair. (He couldn't replace Johnnie for all the reasons that I've already stated.)

The Midnight Plowboy
is Rock's younger brother who recorded with us occasionally from 1988 to 1991 when he became a full time guy. He is truly the funniest and most talented at whatever it is that we do, by a lot. He left in 1995. Johnnie Walker asked him to come to my "Stag Party" (which was just a recording session - but it happened during our 45th Anniversary season, so we called it that.) and he did. He came to most sessions until 2016 when we didn't see us that year. At our first session of 2017 he stated that he was back.

Also coming back:

Galloping Gary who was my best friend and co-founder along with Bouncing Billy and me. He went to college in D.C. and never returned. He did come back to visit family and always recorded, so we considered him still with us. We list his official years as 1967-1982. He and I stayed in touch. He attended all three of my weddings and was the only non-relative besides Johnnie Walker to do that. In 2014 he saw on our page when our July recording date was and drove from D.C. to Connecticut. I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed up at my door. He simply said, "We're recording tonight, no?"

The Cosmic Commando who we met while playing poker in 1981. He was a sales guy for Canon Cameras. He was the first to join when Johnnie & I rebooted WTIT in 1985. Since Billy returned for just that first night, we always considered Cos taking Billy's place. He recorded with us from 1985 to 1990. He returned for our 30th Anniversary Show in 1997. We still had Gary & Greg's chair to fill. And we did with Bob Smirnoff & B.B. Bacardi. Both of them lost touch with us.

Captain Morgan replaced Cos in 1990. We have not heard from him since 1995. He became WTIT's Weatherman as was Cos. While they have met before, this will be the first time in a recording session. [At one point during the 50th recording Captain told Cos that he was "a hard act to follow..."]
