1. What is the best thing about your birthday?

Everybody is so nice!  I've lost count of the number of birthday wishes I've received.  And Ned is making whatever I want for dinner (roast leg of lamb)

2. What is your favorite thing to do for your birthday?
Just kind of hang around the house.  We will go out for lunch with a bunch of friends and dinner at our Mexican daughter's restaurant, then plan for Walt's birthday the next week

People expect less from you when you reach 80.

Oh the elephant, definitely.  They are so interesting.

Well, I don't have a bedroom per se; I sleep in the family room and the one thing I need to have there is the TV.

It's a four-footed person.  Bubba makes me laugh every day.
